Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology adoption roadmaps for quantum computing, biotech convergence, and decentralized systems
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify emerging tech risks and opportunities
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions in our Austin Innovation Labs
- Conduct competitive analysis of global tech trends and patent landscapes
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Manage technology ethics frameworks for AI and automation implementations
- Drive innovation sprints with $1M annual prototyping budget
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching commercialized tech innovations
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Experience with scenario planning and risk modeling for tech disruptions
- Strong network connections with global tech research institutions
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
