Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning for emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, Web3) with 2026 implementation horizons
- Analyze tech disruption patterns and identify market opportunities worth $500M+ potential
- Develop cross-functional innovation roadmaps aligning R&D, product, and business objectives
- Present technology forecasts to executive stakeholders and investment committees
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with Fortune 500 companies and academic institutions
- Monitor regulatory landscapes and ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Lead scenario planning for 3-5 year tech adoption curves
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record developing multi-year tech roadmaps for enterprise clients
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, AR/VR, biotech)
- Strong financial modeling skills for tech ROI and market sizing
- Published thought leadership in tech publications (MIT Tech Review, Wired, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech focus
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation (preferred)
- Experience with regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies (FDA, FCC, etc.)
