Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional innovation initiatives spanning AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis to identify emerging threats/opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and secure cross-stakeholder buy-in
- Manage pilot programs for breakthrough technologies with 3-5 year commercialization horizons
- Establish KPIs to track innovation ROI and technology adoption maturity
- Mentor R&D teams on future-proofing methodologies and exponential thinking frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum, blockchain)
- Executive-level experience with strategic planning and stakeholder management
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech specialization
- Deep understanding of exponential tech trends and their societal implications
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Certifications in innovation management (e.g., CIMP, CEIM) preferred
