Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 5-year technology innovation roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Lead research initiatives in emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum, blockchain, biotech)
- Identify and evaluate disruptive startups for potential partnerships or acquisitions
- Present strategic technology recommendations to C-suite and board members
- Build and manage a cross-functional innovation lab with dedicated R&D resources
- Represent the company at global tech conferences and industry forums
- Monitor regulatory landscapes and ethical implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech roles
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products or services
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams of 20+ professionals
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong network within Silicon Valley and global tech ecosystems
- Certifications in technology management or innovation strategy preferred
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and executive presentation skills
