Responsibilities
- Architect multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market forecasts and regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate emerging tech applications (quantum computing, AI ethics, decentralized systems)
- Establish strategic partnerships with startups, research labs, and industry consortia for tech scouting
- Develop patent strategies and intellectual property frameworks for proprietary innovations
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite executives and board members with compelling data narratives
- Mentor a team of futurists and technology analysts to cultivate forward-thinking capabilities
- Conduct horizon scanning across biotech, clean energy, and neurotech domains
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech commercialization
- Proven track record in launching at least two breakthrough tech products/services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation (PhD/MSc preferred)
- Expertise in technology forecasting frameworks (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Deep understanding of Web3, AGI ethics, and climate-tech convergence
- Exceptional data storytelling abilities with proficiency in visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Certification in Technology Strategy or Innovation Management (e.g., CDIO, CTO Academy)
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Spectrum or Harvard Business Review
