Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market predictions and organizational goals
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable tech innovation
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate emerging technologies into core business strategy
- Manage a $10M innovation portfolio, allocating resources to high-impact projects
- Build and mentor a team of 12+ engineers and researchers focused on future-tech prototyping
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech leaders
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to board stakeholders quarterly
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in executive leadership roles
- Expertise in at least three emerging technologies: AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotech
- Proven track record of launching scalable tech products valued at $50M+
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certified in Futures Thinking methodologies (e.g., CFS) or strategic foresight
- Published author or keynote speaker on technological trends
- Experience securing government grants for R&D initiatives
- Fluency in Mandarin or Japanese for international stakeholder engagement
