Our San Francisco hub offers unparalleled resources including a dedicated quantum lab, neurotech incubator, and climate simulation center. This position reports directly to our Chief Futurist and includes equity in our moonshot projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy aligned with global sustainability goals
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions in AI, biotech, and space tech
- Analyze emerging tech trends and regulatory landscapes to identify disruptive opportunities
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-machine collaboration
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present quarterly technology roadmaps to executive stakeholders and investors
- Mentor junior futurists in speculative design and scenario planning methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neurotech)
- Proven track record of launching products with 5+ year market impact
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Futures Studies, or related field
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFM, CFP)
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding for speculative projects
- Deep understanding of global tech governance frameworks and ethical AI principles
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurist journals
