Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Develop and execute innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Facilitate cross-disciplinary workshops with engineers, designers, and business strategists
- Present foresight insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Build and manage an innovation pipeline with measurable ROI tracking
- Represent company at global tech summits and future-focused conferences
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of experimental thinking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products/services
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, AI, etc.)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience securing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful innovation initiatives
