Responsibilities
- Lead multi-year foresight initiatives mapping technological, social, and economic trends through 2030
- Develop scenario-based models to assess future market disruptions and opportunities
- Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate future insights into product roadmaps
- Deliver executive-level briefings on emerging technologies and their strategic implications
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry experts
- Translate complex future scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Lead innovation workshops cross-functionally to align teams on future vision
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence executive stakeholders
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
