Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI) and societal trends to construct 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks
- Lead innovation workshops and hackathons to identify disruptive opportunities across healthcare, energy, and commerce sectors
- Develop patent-pending methodologies for technology adoption curve forecasting and market disruption modeling
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-readiness principles into product roadmaps and design thinking processes
- Author thought leadership white papers and keynote presentations at premier innovation conferences
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government innovation labs, and venture capital networks
- Mentor internal 'Future Scouts' program to cultivate next-generation innovation talent
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field with 8+ years in innovation strategy
- Proven track record of successfully forecasting technology adoption patterns with 90%+ accuracy
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and weak signal detection methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating delivery of at least three market-defining innovation initiatives
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (blockchain, neuromorphic computing, quantum cryptography)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Certification in Futures Research or Strategic Foresight (e.g., WFS, APF) preferred
- Published author or frequent speaker at Davos, Web Summit, or similar innovation forums
