Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and validate disruptive technologies with 2026+ market potential
- Develop and present multi-year strategic scenarios to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Architect innovation roadmaps integrating emerging fields (quantum AI, neurotech, climate engineering)
- Collaborate with product teams to embed future-proofing principles into development lifecycles
- Establish thought leadership through white papers, keynote presentations, and industry forums
- Mentor cross-functional teams in strategic foresight methodologies and trend analysis
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and societal transformation vectors affecting long-term strategy
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field
- Minimum 7 years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology forecasting frameworks
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI development)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presentation experience
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented strategic innovations
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFPS from Association of Professional Futurists)
