Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic foresight frameworks using predictive analytics and horizon scanning
- Lead innovation workshops with R&D, product, and marketing teams to identify disruptive opportunities
- Translate future scenarios into product roadmaps and investment priorities
- Build and maintain ecosystem of startups, academic institutions, and thought leaders
- Author thought leadership publications on emerging technologies' societal impact
- Champion innovation culture through internal hackathons and experimentation programs
- Advise executive team on technology adoption curves and market inflection points
- Monitor geopolitical shifts, regulatory changes, and ethical implications of emerging tech
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging tech research
- Proven track record developing and scaling disruptive business models
- Expertise in at least two future-critical domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies: Delphi, STEEP analysis, and scenario planning
- Published work or speaking engagements at global innovation forums (e.g., Davos, SXSW)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguous transformation
- Mastery of AI-driven trend analysis tools and data visualization platforms
