Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts by 2026
- Develop innovation roadmaps and scenario-planning frameworks for Fortune 500 clients
- Conduct foresight workshops with executive teams to align on future-state strategies
- Author thought leadership reports on emerging tech impacts (AI ethics, quantum adoption, climate tech)
- Partner with R&D to prototype solutions for next-generation human-machine interfaces
- Build cross-functional innovation ecosystems with startups, academia, and government labs
- Advose on ethical implications of emerging technologies and responsible innovation frameworks
Qualifications
- 7+ years in innovation strategy, technology forecasting, or future studies
- Proven expertise in 3+ emerging domains (AI, quantum, biotech, or climate tech)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related technical field
- Experience developing scenario-planning frameworks for Fortune 500 clients
- Presentation skills to translate complex futures into actionable strategies for non-technical audiences
- Published thought leadership in innovation or technology foresight publications
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from APF or WFS) preferred
