Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, neurotech) and forecast market impacts through 2030
- Develop strategic roadmaps for innovation initiatives aligned with 2026 industry disruption predictions
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling futuristic solutions
- Present foresight insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Partner with R&D to integrate trend intelligence into product development
- Curate and maintain a horizon-scanning ecosystem of external innovators
- Author thought leadership publications on future scenarios
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or future-focused tech leadership
- Proven track record translating trend analysis into commercial innovation
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: AI, biotech, climate tech, or quantum systems
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex future scenarios
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and horizon scanning frameworks
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field
- Portfolio demonstrating published future forecasts or implemented innovation strategies
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., AC/FS, CFIP) preferred
