Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies, socio-economic shifts, and market opportunities through 2030
- Develop and implement strategic foresight frameworks to inform product roadmaps and R&D priorities
- Facilitate executive workshops and stakeholder engagements to align leadership on future scenarios
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and thought leadership publications establishing industry authority
- Oversee innovation sprints and prototyping labs to validate future concepts with rapid iteration cycles
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and academic researchers
- Quantify future opportunity landscapes through predictive modeling and market simulations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology strategy with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and exponential technology forecasting
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field required
- Deep understanding of AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech convergence, and sustainable tech ecosystems
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience to C-level audiences
- Published author or recognized speaker at global innovation forums (e.g., Davos, TED)
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method, Causal Layered Analysis)
