Responsibilities
- Scan global tech, economic, and social landscapes to identify disruptive forces and paradigm-shifting innovations
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies including quantum computing, synthetic biology, and AGI
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype breakthrough solutions and validate market readiness
- Deliver executive briefings to C-suite and board members on emerging risks and opportunities
- Author white papers and thought leadership pieces that position Horizon as a thought leader
- Maintain proprietary foresight database with predictive analytics on industry evolution
- Partner with venture capital arm to evaluate and integrate next-gen startups
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging tech leadership
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial impact
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neurotech, climate tech, or decentralized systems
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or relevant technical field
- Published author in peer-reviewed foresight or innovation journals
- Experience advising Fortune 500 C-suite on technology disruption
- Fluency in strategic scenario planning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
