Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives for 2026-era quantum computing and neuromorphic systems
- Develop strategic roadmaps for ethical AI deployment and human-centric automation
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on emerging technologies (synthetic biology, quantum internet, AGI)
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate futurist insights into corporate strategy
- Design and implement innovation frameworks for rapid prototyping and validation
- Present visionary concepts to stakeholders and investors at global tech forums
- Mentor a team of futurist researchers and innovation architects
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurist Studies (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years in strategic innovation or technology foresight at Fortune 500 companies
- Published research on quantum computing, AGI safety, or sustainable AI
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products with $100M+ market impact
- Deep understanding of ethical AI frameworks and regulatory landscapes
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience at TED Talks or Davos
