Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across biotech, AI, climate tech, and quantum computing domains
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps mapping 2026-2030 technological inflection points
- Partner with R&D teams to prioritize breakthrough projects with exponential potential
- Deliver executive briefings on emerging risks and opportunities in global tech landscapes
- Architect scenarios for future workforce transformations and human-AI collaboration models
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into product development pipelines
- Author thought leadership publications on the future of sustainable innovation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and technology impact assessment methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Portfolio demonstrating published future-oriented frameworks or trend analyses
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on long-term innovation strategy
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management (e.g., from APF or IFTF)
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex futures concepts to diverse stakeholders
