Responsibilities
- Analyze global technology, societal, and economic trends to forecast industry shifts through 2026
- Develop evidence-based innovation frameworks and scenario-planning models for strategic decision-making
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate future-facing products and services
- Produce executive-level trend reports and competitive intelligence briefings
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate emerging technology applications
- Establish thought leadership through whitepapers, speaking engagements, and industry panels
- Champion human-centered design principles in all future-state solutions
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in innovation strategy, R&D, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial opportunities
- Deep expertise in AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing domains
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies and trend analysis tools
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Published thought leader in innovation or futures publications
