As a key member of our Global Futures Lab, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives across Fortune 500 companies to translate technological megatrends into actionable blueprints. Your work will directly shape product roadmaps, investment decisions, and organizational evolution in sectors ranging from AI ethics to space commercialization.
Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research across quantum computing, biotech convergence, and neuro interfaces to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop predictive models for societal and technological tipping points through 2026-2030
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for board-level decision-makers facing existential uncertainty
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align organizational strategy with emerging market realities
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and keynote presentations at global innovation forums
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies and analytical frameworks
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs to track breakthrough innovations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field with 8+ years of strategic foresight experience
- Proven track record of translating complex technological trends into business strategy for Fortune 500 clients
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: generative AI, synthetic biology, or decentralized systems
- Exceptional data visualization skills using tools like Tableau or Flourish to communicate probabilistic futures
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futures journals or industry publications
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies (e.g., Shell's Two Uncertainties framework)
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS-accredited) or equivalent advanced training
