Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable energy sectors
- Develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps with measurable KPIs for emerging technologies
- Lead innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Present trend analysis and future scenarios to executive stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and industry thought leaders
- Champion ethical innovation frameworks for next-gen solutions
- Mentor junior futurists and cross-functional innovation teams
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Portfolio demonstrating trend analysis and scenario planning projects
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Experience with foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, etc.)
- Strong data storytelling and executive presentation skills
- Certification in innovation management or strategic foresight (e.g., CFM, CFS)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology journals
