Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps and scenario-planning frameworks for exponential growth initiatives
- Conduct horizon-scanning research across 15+ emerging tech domains to identify paradigm-shifting opportunities
- Design and lead strategic foresight workshops with executive stakeholders to align organizational vision
- Create quantitative impact models for disruptive technologies (e.g., AGI adoption curves, quantum market penetration)
- Author forward-looking white papers and thought leadership positioning the company at industry inflection points
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, VCs, and academic researchers to validate trend hypotheses
- Integrate future-state scenarios into product development roadmaps and M&A strategies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, technology forecasting, or innovation strategy with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of developing and executing multi-year future-state roadmaps for complex organizations
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology, advanced materials)
- Mastery of scenario planning methodologies, trend analysis frameworks, and probabilistic modeling
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex future states into executable strategies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Technology Management, or related field
- Portfolio of published foresight work or strategic initiatives with measurable impact
- Certification in Foresight methodologies (e.g., from foresight.org) strongly preferred
