Responsibilities

- Develop strategic roadmaps for implementing emerging technologies across enterprise ecosystems
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive innovations with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Design human-centered interfaces for AR/VR systems that redefine user experiences
- Collaborate with policy teams to shape regulatory frameworks for autonomous systems
- Mentor junior researchers while publishing thought leadership in top-tier journals
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D budget through compelling innovation proposals
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Cognitive Engineering, or related field with 8+ years industry experience
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (3+ successful launches)
- Expertise in quantum computing architectures and neuromorphic systems design
- Published research in AI alignment or human-computer interaction (10+ peer-reviewed papers)
- Experience securing federal innovation grants (SBIR/STTR preferred)
- Proficiency in future-casting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
- Deep knowledge of semiconductor evolution and 3D chip fabrication
