Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum, biotech, AGI) and synthesize actionable insights
- Design prototype architectures for 2026-era infrastructure requirements
- Collaborate with C-suite to align R&D priorities with 5-year strategic vision
- Develop cross-disciplinary innovation frameworks combining tech, ethics, and human-centered design
- Pioneer open-source initiatives in sustainable computing paradigms
- Mentor emerging technologists through our Future Leaders program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology R&D with proven track record in emerging tech adoption
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published research in quantum computing, neuromorphic systems, or climate tech
- Expertise in ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation principles
- Proficiency in futures methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating at least two major technology transitions
- Fluency in at least one quantum programming language (Qiskit, Cirq)
