You'll collaborate with R&D, product, and engineering teams to prototype next-generation solutions while maintaining a competitive edge in rapidly evolving markets.
Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and decentralized systems
- Develop strategic roadmaps for 2026+ technology adoption with ROI projections
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption and innovation maturity
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Author thought leadership publications and industry white papers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership
- Proven expertise in emerging technology analysis (AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Experience developing multi-year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in technology or futurism domains
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP, APF) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating technology forecasting and scenario planning
