Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies with 2026 market potential
- Develop strategic frameworks integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Partner with product teams to align innovation roadmaps with long-term business objectives
- Deliver executive briefings on technological disruption scenarios and mitigation strategies
- Establish cross-functional innovation labs for rapid prototyping of future-facing solutions
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry thought leaders
- Produce annual technology impact reports with quantitative and qualitative analysis
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends with 85%+ accuracy
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or Futures Studies (PhD preferred)
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive and technical audiences
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting or innovation strategy
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in Fortune 500 or high-growth startups
- Proficiency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., scenario planning, Delphi)
