Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts through 2030
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with organizational goals and emerging industry standards
- Lead cross-functional workshops to foster innovation culture and prototype future-focused solutions
- Analyze competitive landscapes and regulatory landscapes to anticipate strategic inflection points
- Partner with product teams to integrate futuristic insights into development pipelines
- Author thought leadership publications and present at global technology forums
- Maintain a technology radar system to monitor emerging threats and opportunities
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience developing multi-year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Strong network of technology futurists and academic researchers
- Proficient in scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Published author or frequent speaker at technology conferences
