Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology innovation strategy aligned with business objectives
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) and assess their commercial viability
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate futuristic solutions with pilot programs
- Create executive-level briefings on technological disruption scenarios and mitigation strategies
- Build and lead a cross-functional innovation task force with representatives from engineering, product, and business units
- Establish KPIs to measure the impact of strategic technology initiatives on revenue and market position
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with demonstrable impact on Fortune 500 companies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism with PhD preferred
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (blockchain, neuromorphic computing, AGI development)
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and trend analysis
- Executive presence with experience presenting complex concepts to C-suite and boards
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting or innovation strategy
- Strong project management skills with PMP or similar certification
