- Lead scenario-planning workshops with executive stakeholders and R&D teams
- Author whitepapers and thought leadership pieces on industry disruption vectors
- Partner with product teams to embed future-ready capabilities into roadmaps
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic labs and innovation accelerators
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published author on technological foresight or disruption analysis
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep understanding of emerging tech ecosystems (AI, biotech, quantum)
- Proven ability to influence C-suite decisions through data-driven narratives
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation portfolios
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (preferred)
