Responsibilities
- Anticipate technological disruptions and market trends through horizon scanning and scenario modeling
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, neuro interfaces)
- Lead innovation workshops with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Translate foresight insights into patentable concepts and product prototypes
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Partner with venture capital team to evaluate emerging startups and technologies
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products based on future forecasting
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario-planning capabilities
- Experience with patent development and intellectual property strategy
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in technology foresight or innovation
- Portfolio demonstrating technology trend predictions that materialized
