Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual technology foresight reports identifying disruptive trends with 3-5 year horizons
- Architect strategic innovation roadmaps for emerging domains including AGI, quantum machine learning, and neurotech interfaces
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' prototyping next-gen solutions with engineering teams
- Advise C-suite on technology adoption curves and competitive positioning in emerging markets
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs for early trend detection
- Translate complex technological possibilities into business cases with clear ROI projections
- Represent company at global technology foresight forums and industry summits
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in futures/foresight methodologies
- Proven track record of predicting and commercializing emerging technologies (portfolio required)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI development, or neurotech
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex technological interdependencies
- Credibility with C-suite executives and ability to influence high-stakes decisions
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or major industry publications
- Advanced degree in relevant field (Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies)
- Fluency in trend analysis tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method, Scenario Planning)
