Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging tech trends and disruptive innovations
- Develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Partner with C-suite executives to align technological innovation with business objectives
- Establish cross-functional innovation labs for rapid prototyping of future-facing solutions
- Author thought leadership publications and represent the company at global tech summits
- Drive ethical AI frameworks and sustainable technology adoption across all business units
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in scenario planning, technology adoption lifecycle modeling, and competitive analysis
- Published author or keynote speaker at premier tech conferences (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP, backcasting)
