Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, immersive AR/VR) through 2026
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping futuristic solutions with industry partners
- Analyze global tech trends to identify disruptive opportunities and competitive threats
- Architect scalable frameworks for integrating advanced technologies into enterprise ecosystems
- Present futuristic visions to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Drive innovation through experimental R&D initiatives with 10+ industry verticals
- Mentor next-gen talent in emerging technology adoption methodologies
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 companies
- Proven expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, neuromorphic, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation journals (MIT Tech Review, IEEE Spectrum)
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from University of Houston Futures Program)
- Experience with enterprise-scale digital transformation projects >$50M
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ futuristic technology implementations
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python preferred)
