Job Description
We are looking for a visionary Head of Future Systems to architect the technological backbone for the year 2026. Nexus Horizon Labs is at the forefront of defining what the next decade of computing will look like. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between current AI capabilities and the long-term infrastructure required for a fully autonomous digital ecosystem.
In this high-impact role, you will lead a cross-functional team of engineers and strategists to prepare our platforms for the rapid advancements expected in 2026, including advanced quantum integration and sentient AI interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Roadmap: Create and execute a comprehensive technical strategy that aligns business goals with the technological milestones of 2026.
- Architect Scalable Systems: Design enterprise-grade infrastructure capable of handling exabyte-scale data and real-time AI processing.
- Lead R&D Initiatives: Oversee research into emerging technologies, prioritizing those with high potential for 2026 implementation.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate complex future-tech concepts to executive leadership and investors to secure funding and buy-in.
- Integration & Deployment: Manage the transition of legacy systems to the 2026-ready architecture, ensuring zero downtime.
Qualifications
- Strategic Vision: 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
- Tech Stack Fluency: Deep understanding of AI, machine learning, cloud computing, and quantum computing principles.
- Future-Proofing: Proven track record of anticipating technological shifts and adapting infrastructure accordingly.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical roadmaps into compelling business narratives.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (PhD preferred).
