Responsibilities
- Check in/out guests efficiently while maintaining accuracy in reservation systems
- Process payments and manage cash drawer with meticulous attention to detail
- Resolve guest inquiries and concerns promptly with exceptional service
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and valet departments
- Upsell hotel amenities and services to enhance guest experience
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Handle emergency situations following hotel protocols
Qualifications
- 1+ years of hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency with hotel management systems (e.g., Opera, Cloudbeds)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math skills for cash handling and billing
- Valid California driver's license (for valet coordination)
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification preferred
- Fluency in English; Spanish proficiency highly valued
