In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the overall strategic and operational success of the hotel. Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage services.
- Develop and execute strategic business plans to maximize occupancy rates and revenue per available room (RevPAR).
- Ensure 100% compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times.
- Mentor and train hotel staff to maintain a premium standard of service and guest satisfaction.
- Manage the annual operating budget and monitor financial performance against targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local vendors, partners, and the community.
- Handle complex guest inquiries and complaints with empathy and efficiency to resolve issues.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in hotel management, preferably in a luxury or resort setting.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Oracle Opera or Micros.
- Relevant degree or certification in Hospitality Management is highly preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
