Responsibilities
- Room Preparation: Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to strict quality standards.
- Bed Making: Strip and make beds using linens provided by the hotel, ensuring hospital corners and a neat appearance.
- Restocking: Restock amenities (soap, shampoo, toilet paper) and replace used towels to ensure guest readiness.
- Deep Cleaning: Perform detailed cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, and polishing furniture and fixtures.
- Reporting: Identify and report any maintenance issues or damaged furniture to the Housekeeping Manager immediately.
- Inventory: Monitor and maintain housekeeping carts, ensuring all cleaning supplies are available and organized.
- Guest Relations: Interact with guests in a professional and friendly manner, addressing any immediate requests or concerns.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous housekeeping or custodial experience preferred; training provided for qualified candidates.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to notice and correct minor imperfections and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic and attendance record.
- Background Check: Must pass a standard background check and drug screening.
- Communication: Basic English communication skills required.
- Uniform: Ability to wear and maintain a uniform in a neat and professional manner.
