Responsibilities
- Guest Room Maintenance: Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas according to strict standards.
- Amenity Management: Ensure all guest amenities, linens, and toiletries are restocked and presented neatly.
- Shift Work Adherence: Adhere to assigned shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Quality Control: Perform quality checks to ensure all cleaning tasks meet company and health department regulations.
- Maintenance Reporting: Identify and report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
- Inventory Control: Monitor and manage cleaning supplies to minimize waste and ensure availability for shifts.
- Guest Relations: Maintain a positive demeanor and assist guests with any special requests within your scope of work.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory for enthusiastic candidates.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy objects (up to 30 lbs) for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to work a flexible schedule, including split shifts and weekends.
- Communication: Good verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Chemical Handling: Knowledge of proper chemical usage and safety protocols is a plus.
