Responsibilities
- Architect and execute 2026 technology roadmaps spanning AI ethics, quantum applications, and climate tech
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of engineers, designers, and futurists through full innovation lifecycles
- Identify emerging tech trends through patent analysis, academic research, and industry partnerships
- Secure strategic partnerships with Fortune 500 companies and academic institutions
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ R&D budgets with quarterly ROI optimization
- Mentor junior innovators through our Future Leaders program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation or R&D leadership with 5+ years in future-tech domains
- Proven track record of launching products/services with $10M+ revenue impact
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AGI, biotech, etc.)
- Advanced degree in relevant field (PhD/Master's preferred)
- Published thought leadership in IEEE, Nature, or equivalent journals
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants (SBIR, DARPA, etc.)
- Deep understanding of global tech policy and ethical frameworks
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages
