The Role:
As our Lead Architect, you will own the technical roadmap for our 2026 product line. You will define architectural patterns, ensure system integrity, and mentor junior engineers. This is a high-impact role requiring a blend of deep technical expertise and strategic foresight.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmap Planning: Define and execute the technical strategy for the 2026 product suite, aligning with business goals and market trends.
- System Design: Design complex, scalable, and secure distributed systems that can handle high-concurrency and future growth.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor and guide a team of senior engineers, conducting code reviews, architectural reviews, and fostering a culture of innovation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate complex requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks and implement optimizations to ensure the highest levels of application performance and user experience.
- Technology Evaluation: Research and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, Quantum Readiness, Edge Computing) to keep our stack ahead of the curve.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a lead or architectural role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in modern languages such as Go, Rust, or Python, and cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
- Architecture: Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading diverse teams and delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
