Job Description
We are looking for a visionary Lead Architect to spearhead our 2026 Initiative, a cutting-edge project aimed at redefining the technological landscape of the next decade. In this role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical future tech and practical implementation, building scalable, robust systems that will stand the test of time.
At Nexus Horizon Systems, we don't just predict the future; we engineer it. You will work alongside a world-class team of engineers, data scientists, and futurists to deploy AI-driven solutions, quantum-ready infrastructure, and sustainable computing frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and oversee the end-to-end technical strategy for the 2026 Initiative, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Tech Stack Innovation: Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies (e.g., advanced AI, edge computing) into our core product ecosystems.
- Team Mentorship: Guide and mentor a team of senior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with C-level executives to define long-term technical roadmaps and R&D goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and designers to translate complex requirements into technical specifications.
- Risk Management: Identify potential technical bottlenecks and implement proactive solutions to mitigate risks.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; PhD is a plus.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership or senior engineering role.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Future Tech Proficiency: Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) or quantum computing concepts.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex, ambiguous problems with innovative solutions.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
