We are seeking a Principal AI Architect to lead our core research and development team. You will define the technical strategy for our flagship products, ensuring we are prepared for the rapid advancements in generative AI, quantum computing, and neural interfaces.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between cutting-edge research and scalable production environments. You will work closely with C-level executives and product managers to turn the "2026 Vision" into a reality.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the technical roadmap for 2026 Labs' AI infrastructure and core algorithms.
- Lead a team of senior engineers and data scientists in the design and deployment of scalable machine learning models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into our broader ecosystem.
- Research and prototype emerging technologies (e.g., Large Language Models, Federated Learning) to ensure a competitive edge by 2026.
- Establish best practices for code quality, testing, and ethical AI usage.
- Present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and drive strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior or principal architecture role.
- Deep expertise in Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Deep Learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Strong background in distributed systems, cloud architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP), and high-scale data processing.
- Proven track record of leading high-performing engineering teams and managing large budgets.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field (PhD preferred).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.
