Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-AI hybrid algorithms for optimization and machine learning
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum processors operating at 50+ qubit coherence
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum accelerators with classical AI frameworks
- Lead research papers on quantum neural networks for IEEE and Nature journals
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum computing methodologies
- Secure $2M+ in DARPA/NASA grants for quantum-AI initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Machine Learning
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in top-tier quantum/AI conferences (QIP, NeurIPS)
- Expertise in tensor networks and quantum circuit optimization
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and high-performance computing
- Experience with superconducting quantum processors or ion traps
- Strong background in topological quantum error correction
