Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in developing quantum AI algorithms for real-world applications
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise-scale deployments
- Secure $5M+ in government/private funding through compelling research proposals
- Drive commercialization of quantum breakthroughs in healthcare and logistics
- Publish 3+ high-impact papers annually in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum machine learning methodologies
- Establish strategic partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and IBM Quantum networks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (minimum 10 citations)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum error correction protocols
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF, DOE) preferred
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and fault-tolerant roadmap
- Expertise in quantum machine learning architectures (QML, VQE, QAOA)
- Proven track record of translating theory to commercial prototypes
