Responsibilities
- Design and implement hybrid quantum-classical AI frameworks for exponential computational acceleration
- Lead research in error-corrected quantum neural networks and quantum-enhanced deep learning
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum algorithms for proprietary 500+ qubit processors
- Develop patent-pending methodologies for quantum data encryption and secure AI model transfer
- Mentor PhD-level researchers in quantum machine learning and algorithm optimization
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure $5M+ in government/industry grants for quantum-AI research initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Computational Mathematics
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum algorithms (3+ papers)
- Expertise in NISQ-era error mitigation and hybrid quantum-classical architectures
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and high-performance computing frameworks
- Experience leading cross-functional technical teams of 10+ researchers
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks and scalability challenges
