As a Quantum AI Research Scientist, you'll architect hybrid quantum-classical algorithms that redefine computational boundaries. Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning frameworks using Qiskit and Cirq
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing error-corrected quantum algorithms
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature Physics/Science journals
- Optimize quantum circuit architectures for real-world applications
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to define quantum processor specifications
- Develop proprietary quantum neural network training protocols
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and World Economic Forum summits
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years implementing quantum algorithms on real quantum hardware
- Expertise in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and quantum assembly languages
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum error correction
- Familiarity with quantum annealing and superconducting qubit systems
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and information theory
