Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols for enterprise systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum acceleration into machine learning pipelines
- Lead research on topological quantum computing error correction
- Translate theoretical quantum models into production-ready code
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming best practices
- Present findings at international quantum computing symposia
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum assembly languages
- Publication record in quantum algorithm development or cryptography
- Experience with Shor's algorithm and Grover's search implementations
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
- Familiarity with NISQ hardware constraints and error mitigation
- Security clearance or willingness to obtain DoD clearance
