Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical interfaces for enterprise applications
- Conduct research on quantum error correction techniques for industrial-scale systems
- Create roadmaps for quantum computing integration in AI/ML pipelines
- Secure patents for novel quantum hardware-software co-designs
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Strong background in superconducting qubit manipulation
- Proven track record of scaling quantum systems beyond 100 qubits
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Exceptional problem-solving skills for NP-hard optimization challenges
