Responsibilities
- Design and optimize quantum algorithms for cryptography, drug discovery, and financial modeling
- Lead the development of fault-tolerant quantum processors using superconducting and photonic architectures
- Collaborate with materials scientists to engineer novel quantum hardware components
- Develop error-correction frameworks for large-scale quantum systems
- Create hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise applications
- Present quantum roadmaps to C-suite executives and government agencies
- Lead quantum security protocols for national infrastructure protection
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven experience with cryogenic engineering or photonic systems
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and decoherence mitigation
- Track record of translating theoretical models into functional prototypes
- Certification in quantum cryptography or quantum machine learning
