Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting and trapped-ion qubit systems
- Develop quantum error correction algorithms achieving fault-tolerant thresholds
- Create hybrid quantum-classical workflows for enterprise applications
- Lead quantum circuit optimization for NISQ-era devices and fault-tolerant systems
- Establish quantum security protocols for next-gen cryptographic systems
- Mentor quantum engineering teams and publish breakthrough research
- Partner with semiconductor teams to design cryogenic quantum control systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of quantum computing experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and quantum error correction codes
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Proven track record of developing quantum hardware-software interfaces
- Strong background in quantum information theory and many-body physics
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and microwave control systems
- Demonstrated ability to translate quantum advantage into commercial applications
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
